FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you can find some of the most frequent questions that I get. And if you have a question to ask you can ask it on my contact page… I look forward to helping you in any way I can..!

Q: How do I purchase original artwork?

A: You can find all of my available artworks can be found here.

Currently, the only way you will know if a piece artwork is available for purchase is if the artwork shows a price with the word available on the individual artwork’s page. I will soon have a better system established for this process as my site evolves. Thanks

Q: Do you do commissioned paintings?

A: Yes. All of the information on how I work on a commission can be found here. You can inquire about a commission through the Inquire about an art commission form on the commissions page, or you can use the form on the contact page, whichever way works best for you.
Keep in mind that I normally have my own artistic vision when discussing a commission, And I recommend that you let me have some artistic freedom with your desired vision so that the outcome of the work reflects my artistic style once complete.

Q: How much does it cost for a commission?

A: That is a loaded question. The best thing you can do is to contact me through the form found on my commissions page. This will start the process to finding out how I can help you and better narrow down the budget for your vision.
I look forward to working with you and cannot wait to make your desired Artwork become a reality. Link to my Commissions Page

Q: Do you design book covers, album covers, t-shirts, etc.?

A: Yes. You can either commission me to do the work, or potentially purchase a license to use a piece of artwork that I have already created.

Q: What are the different mediums you work with?

A: I work in Oil Paint, Graphite, and Digital mediums mostly. And I am studying different forms of sculpting techniques to learn how to sculpt, mold, and cast…

Q: What are some of the software you work digitally in?

A: I use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Clip Studio, and ZBrush as my go to pieces of software when it comes to my digital work. I will also use a combination of these to mock-up an idea quickly before I go to a canvas or panel. For example, I may do a quick compositional sketch or color study digitally in Photoshop, which saves me a lot of time and materials verses doing it on a small scaled panel or board with oil paint.
I mean, who cannot agree that digital layers and CTRL + Z, are pretty epic..!

Q: How long does it take for you to create an oil painting?

A: That is a highly variable question. Depending on the scale of the piece, the surface material, the subject matter that will be involved, whether or not I am painting a portrait from a photograph (which could require a photoshoot and me to travel to the client to do the photoshoot) or coming up with a completely new concept for a piece of artwork, etc.

Q: What are your inspirations that keep your artwork fresh and thriving in your studio?

A: The simplest answer would be to just say LIFE & GOD…

I draw my biggest inspirations from the very emotions I’ve had and are experiencing during this wonderful life, mix that with the musical tastes I have, all of the amazing artists works I’ve ever seen, books I’ve ever read, movies I’ve ever watched, and all of the beautiful people I’ve ever known, and every experience that I have ever experienced. And God… These are where I pull all of my inspirations and ideas from…!
