This is the full digital painting and layout for the FalseKey anthology book project that I am heavily affiliated with. Each year a group of writers come together to grow this anthology. This is a series based anthology,
“Somewhere South Of…”
I am the Illustrator for this anthology, or at least I am the illustrator that has been creating these book covers for the better part of four years now.
I actually started working with this group during their second book launch.

Full Book Cover Artwork
This is the full digital painting before the required text that is featured on the book. I always create the artwork at double the print size at a minimum too, that way I can do some larger print work for the client if it comes up… Which it has in the past..!
From here I will also use the artwork to do most of the launch branding, Social media, website banners, etc… Oh and some other cool little stationary items, such as, bookmarks, buttons, pins, and possibly a t-shirt…
Artwork & Layout converted into a Bookmark
Used during the initial launch party so that people have something they can take away from the party. A nice marketing tool as well, for those that could not purchase a book yet or need to think about it a little before purchasing, they could take a bookmark for free and it would keep the book in their mind for a potential sale in the future.
