Portrait Drawing of Beetlejuice

Thoughts: I have decided to take a step back for a few hours each day to work on some of the more foundational drawing skills. One of the drawing skills I have been studying has been drawing the general shapes and planes of the face. The method I have decided to work with is the Andrew Loomis method. I know there are many amazing drawing process books out there to study from, but this method is the method that really resonates with me and I really enjoy the process of it to be honest.

Through this method I feel the flow and movement as I work out a portrait drawing, The more I work through my process with this method, the more I am seeing all of the nuances in my subjects expression…

Really fascinating how I feel myself developing as an Artist..!
